Greetings from Kuala Lumpur! Haven’t seen much of the city yet, kinda tired from the previous travels, just relax a bit for now. I was thinking about this postrock song, suits pretty well my current mood ^^
Haven’t been in KL for a very very very long time, haven’t seen the city much yet, but still love it.
I love post-rock and I’m always searching for some good bands to listen to. Here are some good ones I enjoy listening to lately:
A song from Japanese band té ‘s album “音の中の『痙攣的』な美は、観念を超え肉体に訪れる野生の戦慄。” from 2012. One funny thing about them is that they really love to use long names for the songs and albums, for example, the track on the album is like this:
I don’t understand Japanese, but I think it’s cool.
For a Minor Reflection is an Icelandic post-rock band. Beautiful track Reistu Þig Við, Sólin Er Komin Á Loft…, masterpiece, especial the last few minutes. Their newer one “Holdum i att ao oreiou” is quite amazing too.
I didn’t know much about the music industry in Thailand, until I found out Inspirative. I love their music because it reminds me of holidays in South East Asia: heat, humid, palm tree, coconut, sea breeze, etc. In some of their tracks, they added Thai language in them, the language sounds nice in their post rock 😀
