On a rainy half lockdown Sunday, I went to visit the National Tile Museum in Lisbon. First Sunday of the month is also free entrance. Tiles are important for the Portuguese, if you walk in any streets, you’ll find many houses using tile as exterior decors. Back in time, the Moors brought tile and mosaic to the Iberian Peninsula, nowadays the mosaic patterns you see in Portuguese streets can be dated back to the the Moorish Kingdom of Granada.
