Taipei 101

Even if I had never been to Taipei before the trip, I had heard of 101, landmark of Taipei city. Here are some pictures of it.

101 metro station

101 by night from the Elephant Hill.

Didn’t mean to SHP like this, but don’t know what else I can write about it, I could have gone to the top take some “view of Taipei” pictures, but I didn’t want to pay for the expensive elevator lol. I’m a pretty bad tourist, at least nowadays, I remember before every city I go, I was always doing the viewpoint visit to some tall buildings, nowadays I’m not doing it any more.

Hualien 💐

Rent a scooter in Hualien, the battery wasn’t enough to ride to Taroko, so visited some park near the sea. Wasn’t bad at all.

Is it a lighthouse? It’s right on the main street in Hualien city. Isn’t lighthouse supposed to be anywhere on the coastline? How come it’s in the city? Kinda confusing.

Streets, where I rent my scooter.

Cute dried fish

Nanbin park in Hualien, I can sit there the whole afternoon.

Trip to Tamsui Riverfront 淡水河畔

Just spent an afternoon in Tamsui in New Taipei City.

It’s not so close to Taipei city, looks like it has some nice view and some old streets.

It was Sunday so the old street is quite packed. I normally won’t specially go to see such old street, but it’s Sunday, everywhere is packed anyway.

Tamsui old street

Beautiful riverfront walk!

Bothing better than a morning coffee in a vintage style café

I stay in Dihua Rd, not until yesterday Taiwan Steemians told me this area is full of nice shops and has become quite trendy recently, did I realise I should explore the street, since I stay so close by!

This cute café attracts me.

Love its decorations!

Great for photo taking I guess.
