I felt a bit of post-travel blues after one week back in the old and dark Belgium, therefore went for a weekend in Paris. London, Amsterdam are also not far from where I live but I visit Paris much more often, I simply like it better than other bigger European cities.
This is just a random travel log, I was still slightly sick from India trip, so didn’t go to any of the parties, although there were a few that interested me. Even for someone who is used to the cold, city trip in the winter can be challenging, in the end, most of the time was spent indoors. Boring I know …
a free museum in Pigalle, called Musée de la Vie Romantique, a museum dedicated to life in the Romantic period. The house is lovely, something similar as the cute European style house I used to dream that one day I can own one… not so much to see inside but the garden is nice, and the streets around the museum are lovely.
garden of the museum, should be nice in the summer
Montmartre
detail of national opera
Looks so good, I regret didn’t go inside have my Vietnamese coffee fix…
Visited Pompidou again, mainly for https://joythewanderer.com/faire-son-temps this exhibition.
restaurant is called Ancienne maison Gradelle, not bad
Cute bar called My Woodie, I loved it! Great vibe and great beer/cocktails.
