[Trip Report] Snow Wonderland – Georgia (Part 2)

This is part 2 of my Georgia trip report, feel free to check out my first part of the trip:

Itinerary: Kutaisi -(train)- Tbilisi – Kazbegi/Stepantsminda – Tbilisi

I took a train from Kutaisi station to Georgian capital Tbilisi. Compared to the train, mini buses called marshrutkas are more popular as they are more regular the the trains. I’m a big train lover and I was not really in a hurry, so I chose the slower but more comfortable train. The train station in Kutaisi was super small and simple, there were two ladies selling some drinks and snacks, that’s it.

Short stay in picturesque Kotor

Montenegro city – Kotor is my all time favorite holiday destination in Europe. I went there in the summer, the sea, the beach, the wind, the mountain, the view, nothing can be comparable. I’d like to share the memory of my short stay in Kotor with you.

黑山共和国的科托尔可以说是我最爱的欧洲度假城市,没有之一。我是夏天去的,那里美丽的山,海水,城堡,景色,微风都给我留下了深刻的回忆。我想跟你们分享这个美丽的地方。

Trip to Claude Monet’s Home and Gardens in Giverny

Today I went on a day trip to Claude Monet’s House and Gardens in Giverny. I’ve heard about Monet’s story of Giverny before and I always wanted to visit it one day. Monet noticed Giverny while looking out of a train window. Later he rented a house at the area. In 1890 he gathered enough money to buy the house and created the magnificent gardens he wanted to paint. I’ve seen many of his paintings he painted in the garden before, which made me want to visit Giverny one day. Claude Monet is not only a genius impressionist painter, but also a very talented gardener. His garden in Giverny is all gardeners’ dream. The gardens were filled with beautiful flowers. Some I had never seen before.
