[Trip Report] Snow Wonderland – Georgia (Part 2)

This is part 2 of my Georgia trip report, feel free to check out my first part of the trip:

Itinerary: Kutaisi -(train)- Tbilisi – Kazbegi/Stepantsminda – Tbilisi

I took a train from Kutaisi station to Georgian capital Tbilisi. Compared to the train, mini buses called marshrutkas are more popular as they are more regular the the trains. I’m a big train lover and I was not really in a hurry, so I chose the slower but more comfortable train. The train station in Kutaisi was super small and simple, there were two ladies selling some drinks and snacks, that’s it.

YSL’s blue Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, Morocco

Jardin Majorelle, a beautiful garden with an impressive shade of blue. The garden is a bit outside the busy center of Marrakech. It’s like a oasis in the pink city of Marrakech. Here you can see so many different colors, all of high saturation. Especially this delightful shade of blue, which makes me feel tranquil immediately. Designer YSL bought this garden and after he passed away it is now open to public. They said this kind blue is YSL blue, I love the color even though I’m not that familiar with YSL’s fashion.

Trip to Kinderdijk Windmill village in the Nederlands

I went to Kinderdijk in the Nederlands the other day when my friend from China came to visit. It’s a village close to Rotterdam. There are many lovely windmills in the area. I live in Flanders for a couple of years already, but strangely I haven’t explored this famous windmill village. Thanks to my friend’s visit, I finally got the chance to visit this place. It was actually easy for us to get there. First we took a train to Dordrecht from Belgium, then a direct bus to Kinderdijk. I guess sometimes we are lazy to explore the nearby area, thinking it’s nothing special but actually it can be as nice as more remote places.

Beautiful capital of Croatia – Zagreb

Today I bring you to the beautiful Croatian capital – Zagreb. When we talk about Croatia, we think about the Adriatic coast, Dubrovnik, or Pula, etc. Although as a capital, Zagreb is somehow overlooked by the visitors to this country. It’s true that Zagreb is not any close to the seaside. Still I find it a pity that it has been neglected by the visitors because it actually has a lot to offer, sights, architectures, cafes, restaurants, etc. In my opinion it’s totally comparable to its (sort of)neighbor cities, such as Prague and Budapest.
