Popular Peruvian street BBQ snack – Anticuchos

Anticucho, which in Quechua language means cut stew meat, is a popular street food in Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. It’s a sort of BBQ marinated meat, accompanied with roast potatoes and a type of peanut sauce(I realy LOVE this sauce). The most common one, as shown in the picture above, is made of beef heart (anticuchos de corazón).

Valle de Cocora, Colombia’s Coffee Zone

Been to many areas in Colombia, I believe Cocora Valley is the best place in the whole country of Colombia, despite the fact that coffee zone is becoming more and more touristy. Still you can easily spot the tranquillity there.

To go to the valley, the best base is the town of Salento. You’d better get up early, catch one of those early tuktuk at the central square, tuktuk can get quite full, sometimes you will have to stand at the back of the car, kinda fun though. Trail can be easily done in the morning.

Street arts in La Candelaria district, Bogota

Bogota is probably one of the best cities for you if you are a street art fan like me. Obviously from the minute you get to Bogota, you will see it is a city that has incredible street art. Seeing the graffiti in Candelaria district was the highlight of my trip to Bogota as it’s a great way of familiarising yourself with the Candelaria.
