I think I recovered enough from previous food poisoning now. So now I’m heading to the market hunting for food again. In Vietnam the best food is always on the street in my opinion. Just to look for the colorful children sized plastic chairs on the street and you’ll find food.
Went to Binh Tay market, it’s a wholesale market but you also a find food court like any other market!
The building is lovely, built by the French I think. It’s located in HCMC’s biggest China town, does that make it look somehow a bit Chinese? Haha
There is a shrine in the backyard of the market.
Because it’s a wholesale market, most of the items are sold in big batches, I wanted to buy some colorful plastic hair pin, but I have to buy 50 of them, maybe you can negotiate with them to buy one or two but I failed 🙁
Still enjoyed the market, has a nice food court where you can find noodle soup and fresh juice.
