Halles Saint-Géry night

Halles Saint-Géry is a popular venue for friends to hang out both during the day and at night.

During the day, you see the Brusselois come here drink a coffee and do some reading. Sometimes local artists are hosting exhibitions in the hall. Every first Sunday of the week there’s a huge vintage market happening as well. At night it’s cool to grab a drink or two.

Good atmosphere and good music, I love its architecture as well.

Haven’t had Long Island Ice Tea for ages. I remember when I went out back home, me and friends used to love drinking those. That was such a long time ago.

Anyway, if you ever come to Brussels, do check it out. It’s open day and night.

2018 recap – my travel map

Thanks to @streetstyle giving me this great idea to make a recap of where I’ve been in 2018.

It was a great travel year for me. Been to so many places that I actually needed to check out my instagram logs and maps to remember the name of some cities lol (the number is sequence of the cities I’ve been to).

Detailed maps:

So happy I’ve made it to Central Asia and West Africa, the two regions I always wanted to visit. Will for sure visit more countries in these two areas in the future.

Some great memories.

Not sure if I’ll travel as much in 2019, at current crypto price, probably not, but for sure I’ll go back to China before summer when it gets too hot there, haven’t been back for more than a year now, and probably travelling around Asia for a while. I miss Asia a lot. Besides that, no further travel plans so far.

At the moment I’m taking a short break from further checking off my travel bucket list. Travelling is still my biggest passion and there are still so many places I haven’t been to and would love to visit, but probably there’s much more to do and to discover in life also.

Hope you all have a great 2019 and travel as much as you wish.

Back in Europe, starting a healthy lifestyle in 2019.

Finally back in Belgium. I put on 1.2 kg in West Africa… what?? I don’t understand it, maybe eating too many plantain chips and grilled chickens. I have to lose some weight by eating more healthy. Salad for a month now.

Born and raised in China, where you cook all the vegetables, even after 7 years living in Europe, I still can’t eat raw veg every day. What can I do then? Find a tasty salad dressing, this Wasabi&Ginger dressing is pretty good. I like it much more than the mayonnaise based ones.

Tomato, avocado, sweet potato and boiled chicken filet. Plus some lettuce and rucola.

Healthy I hope ^^

But, I felt so guilty again after a cup of glühwein. Since I missed xmas, I guess I’m allowed to have one.
