Walking over Long Biên metal bridge in Hanoi

Third time visiting Hanoi, finally I got to visit this famous 1900s metal bridge Long Biên Bridge.

The bridge was built around 1900 by Gustave Eiffel during the French Indochina time.

There’s a railway in the middle of the bridge, only motorbikes and bikes can pass the bridge, there’s a narrow way for pedestrians.

Under the bridge is the start of Long Bien market.

Just like a lot of streets in Vietnam, the bridge is also not so pedastrian friendly.

Still it makes a great experience to walk over the bridge.

Little fruit truck on the bridge, many people were buying some corn and bananas from the lady.

view of village and field from the bridge.

If you are lucky, you see train passing by.
